Mullen Automotive has added the Persona vehicle technology to its latest product line, driven by artificial intelligence, to its entire lineup of consumer and commercial vehicles. Persona is an interactive AI camera/sensor and video monitoring system that was first created for the Mullen Five. It uses facial recognition technology to unlock and lock cars and completely customize the driving experience for the driver. Persona said that the initial functionality of the vehicle will include advanced vehicle charging, AI-powered emergency response, pet and occupant safe mode, security fencing, and driver-specific vehicle settings.
Drivers on busy routes who make several stops on each street frequently have to secure their delivery car before making a package delivery. For the route and driver, this frequently means more time, stress, and decreased overall efficiency. This problem can be resolved with Persona facial recognition, which can identify the driver from 8 to 10 feet away, unlock the car, and turn it on automatically.

Independent Semiconductor Inc., a pioneer in Autotech solutions, has introduced the first highly integrated, volume production-ready 120 GHz IQ radar front-end (RFE) transceiver in the world, with on-chip integrated antennas. With no external antenna required, the TRX̍120̍067 offers the high-resolution, small-form-factor, low-power consumption sensing required by developing automotive radar systems, greatly streamlining application development.
Using frequencies between 76 GHz and 81 GHz, radar is already a widely used long-range sensing solution for safety and convenience features like automated emergency braking (AEB), automated parking, and adaptive cruise control (ACC). Radar is becoming more and more crucial for in-cabin Driver and Occupant Monitoring Systems (DMS/OMS) as automakers strive to continuously improve sensing resolution.
