Following its premiere as the JUUL2 System in 2021, the vaporizer—which features an app to control access for underage users and a unique Pod ID chip to prevent the use of counterfeit cartridges—is already available for purchase in the United Kingdom. Tuesday saw Juul Labs submit its most recent premarket tobacco product application to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. The company stated that it intended to sell tobacco-flavored pods with a nicotine content of less than 2%.
