A low-carbon footprint insulation product line called Energystore+ has been introduced by Energystore, an insulation business with headquarters in the Belfast suburb of Hollwood. The Energystore super bead system is an expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam bead that can be used in masonry, party walls, and timber frame cavity walls. The EPS granules Neopor BMB, created by the German chemical manufacturer BASF, serve as the foundation for both Energystore products.
The collection uses renewable biofuels as basic materials, according to the manufacturer, and is made to make homes as thermally efficient as possible.
In order to make pourable insulation for use in floor and roof construction, Energystore TLA+ blends cement and EPS foam beads that have been coated in a cutting-edge additive.
According to BASF, it is crucial for the business to use its products to help reduce the use of fossil fuels, greenhouse gas emissions during production, and emissions from heating and cooling buildings.

A new 150,000-square-foot extruded polystyrene plant being set up by Owens Corning in Russellville will add 50 new positions over the course of two years. The Toledo, Ohio-based international building and construction products company has expanded three times in Arkansas in the last two years.
The business intends to begin manufacturing extruded polystyrene (XPS) insulation called Foamular NGX in Russellville in 2025 for use in both commercial and residential construction.
With its outstanding insulating capacity and moisture resistance, Owens Corning's Foamular is a high-performing insulation that is valued by architects, engineers, builders, and contractors. The requirements of a wide range of architectural applications can be met using Foamular extruded polystyrene.
