With the introduction of TEGO RC 2000 LCF, Evonik is introducing the first item in its new line of next-generation TEGO RC solutions. The new release coating, which is created using recycled silicone feedstocks, can be cured using either standard UV Arc lamps or less energy-intensive UV LED lamps, enabling label producers to reduce their carbon footprint and fulfill rising sustainability goals.

With the best pressure-sensitive adhesives (PSAs) and temperature-sensitive substrates in the market, Evonik's innovative single-component, ready-to-use release coating offers easy to controlled release performance, high aging stability, and extremely good curing and anchoring qualities. These additives improve final products by increasing their value, durability, energy efficiency, and general quality. Specialty Additives combine a little with a large impact as formulation experts in fast-growing areas like coatings, mobility, infrastructure, and consumer products.

Label Expo Europe 2023 in Brussels will feature a presentation by Evonik on the brand-new TEGO RC 2000 LCF and its comprehensive release coatings portfolio for label and linerless label applications.

At its Verbund location in Zhanjiang, China, BASF has started building on a polyethylene (construction additive) plant. The brand-new facility, with a yearly capacity of 500,000 metric tonnes of PE, will meet China's rapidly expanding demand. In 2025, the plant is expected to begin operations.

For a variety of durable applications, including pipes, specialty films, and blow-molded components for household and commercial chemical containers, particularly in the South China market, the Zhanjiang Verbund site is fully backward integrated.

High-density polyethylene pipes produce almost leak-free pipes that are resistant to corrosion and can withstand environmental stress, which helps conserve energy and water.
