As a leader in packaging and paper, Mondi is pleased to introduce a new, more environmentally friendly, biodegradable sleeve packaging designed to replace the traditional plastic shrink wrap used to secure 1.5-liter sparkling soft drink multipacks made by Coca-Cola HBC in Austria. Mondi's Advantage SpringPack Plus, recognized by Guinness World Records as the world's strongest paper, is used to make the Hug-IT, which holds six bottles together while in transit.
Hug-IT sleeves can be relied upon to wrap firmly around the six bottles, keeping them upright and held together during transit from production to the retailer to the customer's home because of their high tensile strength and unmatched stretchability.Â
It will be offered in retail establishments all around Austria and protect 1.5-liter PET multi-packs of the Coca-Cola, Fanta, Sprite, and Mezzo Mix brands. Hug-IT is a cutting-edge solution, and at the moment, Advantage SpringPack Plus is the only paper on the market that has the capacity to keep the bottle bundles together as a complete Hug-IT solution.
