Amazon claims these technologies will enable its business customers to use their resources and get positive results. Experts believe that Amazon proves to be a leader in the retail sector as it is growing in popularity across the generations. Consumers of different age groups tend to opt for Amazon in the last few months, from 2023 to 2024. Studies show that Amazon's majority of sales are generated from first and third-party marketplaces. The primary factor driving Amazon's constant revenue growth is its adaptability to all groups of consumers in the market. Therefore, Amazon has found it easier to emerge as the retail and online shopping leader.

Based on a survey, Amazon reports that it will generate 38 percent of its revenue from the first kind of marketplaces in 2024. Similarly, Amazon gains 24 percent of revenue from third-party marketplaces in 2024. These revenues from first and third-party marketplaces count up to a total revenue of USD 143.3 billion in the first quarter of 2024. Another survey shows that around 56 percent of online consumers initiate their product search through Amazon. Moreover, Amazon houses several independent sellers selling their products. Hence, the company gains 60 percent of its revenues from independent sellers, and most of the sellers belong to small- and medium-sized businesses. Hence, Amazon's inclusion of specific technologies to enhance its business will gain profits in 2024.
