For instance, if someone develops vitiligo, a condition affecting skin pigmentation, and it goes untreated, its impact tends to worsen with age. Therefore, the growing number of older individuals is another factor propelling the growth of the cosmetic procedures market. According to the ASPS, individuals aged 40-54 years accounted for 49% of all cosmetic procedures in the US in 2018, totaling around 7.8 million procedures. Moreover, those aged 55 and above underwent about 3.8 million minimally invasive procedures in the same year. Hence, the rising geriatric population contributes significantly to the demand for minimally invasive cosmetic procedures.

The surge in beauty consciousness is not only limited to the younger population but is also prevalent among older individuals who are increasingly opting for cosmetic procedures to enhance their appearance and well-being. The statistics from ISAPS and ASPS indicate a substantial growth in both non-surgical and minimally invasive procedures, showcasing the global trend towards aesthetic treatments. As technology advances and awareness continues to spread, it is likely that the demand for such procedures will persist and possibly increase in the coming years.
