  January 2023: GE HealthCare and Sound Technologies, the global leader in veterinary imaging, have reached an agreement to distribute the Vscan AirTM, a cutting-edge, wireless, pocket-sized ultrasound with crystal clear image quality, whole-patient scanning capabilities, and intuitive software, to veterinary practices in the United States. The Vscan Air is a portable, wireless ultrasound device that has the potential to increase the use and accessibility of point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) for veterinarians and the animals they treat. Vscan Air supports both iOS and Android applications to provide the user with flexibility. As an ultra-portable, military-drop-tested device, it is readily transportable to veterinary care environments both inside and outside the clinic. Its compact footprint design supports evaluations with high-quality imaging.

The MyLabX90VET, an extension of the renowned MyLab family, is endowed with intelligent proprietary Augmented Insight technology designed to advance veterinary care by providing accurate and precise imaging for a confident diagnosis. MyLabX90VET is the first ultrasound device to integrate clinical data and A.I., and was designed to streamline the workflow for repetitive gestures, complex procedures, measurements, and lesion analysis. This shared-service solution can be used with cardiovascular applications to increase the speed and accuracy of standard measurements. It also includes a full suite of zero-click tools, including AutoEF, XStrainTM, and Hyperdoppler, to facilitate the quantification of cardiovascular function.
