November 2023- The Commercial Vehicle Solutions Network (CVSN) announced Monday it will be hosting a series of webinars in December introducing the association's new Pillar communities: Legislative, Industry Awareness/Marketing, Education/GenNext, and Technology. CVSN says each webinar will include a moderated conversation with the co-chairs of the specific community, discussing the latest projects, upcoming group solutions, upcoming events where the communities will be able to collaborate and network, and how to get involved. Nick Seidel, CVSN president and vice president of Action Truck Parts, said that the role of an association is to bring new solutions to the industry it represents. This is accomplished through the cooperation of competitors, as there are plenty of issues that are better solved as a group than as individual companies. He further added that CVSN has spent the last several months identifying the tough challenges that everyone in the independent commercial vehicle aftermarket industry faces. Through our Pillar communities, we will be able to create an organized strategy on how to solve those issues best and implement the solutions on a larger scale.
