Viz.ai has received a CE Mark certification for its stroke care software, which utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) technology. This certification validates the program's compliance with the health, safety, and environmental protection regulations established for products marketed in the European Economic Area. The intelligent care coordination system developed by Viz.ai facilitates early connection across diverse care teams, enabling coordinated care and prioritizing patient well-being. This system utilizes a software package that has undergone clinical validation, demonstrating its effectiveness in streamlining stroke care, reducing the time taken to provide therapy, and significantly enhancing patient outcomes. The primary product offered by Viz.ai, known as Viz LVO, employs artificial intelligence (AI) technology to autonomously identify instances of suspected large vascular occlusion (LVO) strokes on computed tomography angiography (CTA) scans.
The postprocessing program, STAGE (Strategically Acquired Gradient Echo), developed by SpinTech MRI, has been granted clearance by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The program enables users to obtain a total of 16 brain contrast pictures within a time frame of five minutes on 3-tesla systems. These images consist of 10 qualitative outputs with improved contrast and six quantitative outputs. STAGE demonstrates compatibility with a majority of MRI systems and is currently being utilized in over 50 hospitals, imaging centers, and research institutes worldwide. The timely management of stroke is crucial, as every minute has significance. Consequently, Viz.ai is committed to diminishing the duration between onset and therapy, thereby enhancing patient outcomes by means of enhanced care coordination.List of stroke post-processing software Key companies in the market
