Tate & Lyle has introduced TASTEVA SOL Stevia Sweetener to its line of sweeteners. Â This addition broadens Tate & Lyle's capacity to assist clients in resolving stevia solubility issues in food and beverages and helps meet consumer demand for healthier and tastier, sugar and calorie reduced products. It is an internationally patent protected breakthrough in stevia technology.
Commencing with the leaf, TASTEVA SOL is a high-quality tasting stevia that is more than 200 times more soluble than Reb M and D products available in stores. TASTEVA SOL addresses solubility issues that are frequently present in dairy fruit preparations, sweet syrups, and beverage concentrates with high sugar replacement levels.
When combined with Reb M stevia sweeteners, TASTEVA SOL can be used as a high-sugar substitute. It fits in nicely with the company's stevia sweetener line. It has very good solubility; it dissolves easily in concentrates and maintains its solubility at low pH levels.
This innovation corresponds with the increasing demand from customers and consumers, given that stevia is predicted to grow by 13% in market value by 2026.Â
In February 2024, Sugar-Free, one of the leading brands in the sugar substitute category in India, released its new variation called Sugar-Free Green across the country. It is made from Stevia leaves and is available in two forms namely pellets and powder.
Moreover, Ingredion has also produced a PureCircle brand’s clean taste solubility solution; this product is a drop-in stevia sweetener that was launched in May 2024.
Furthermore, Domino Sugar and C&H Sugar December 2023 offered up an all-natural blend of pure cane sugar and stevia with half the calories of sugar that are devoid of artificial ingredients or sugar alcohols such as erythritol.
March 2022:Â The Framework for Steviol Glycosides, which involves four key technologies used during the development of steviol glycosides, was started by Codex Alimentarius, the authority on food standard safety. These include fermented steviol glycosides, stevia leaf extract, glucosylated steviol glycosides, and bioconverted steviol glycosides.
January 2022:Â Recently, Ingredion unveiled its newest product, which boasts a sweet flavor and is covered by the claim of natural flavor. The most recent product, known as PureCircle NSF-13, was developed to provide sweetness across a wide range of applications, including bakery, beverages, and dairy. PureCircle NSF-13, labeled as a "flavor preparation" and containing steviol glycosides like Reb M, may support a few flavor tonalities, primarily brown notes. Along with its primary contribution of sweetness, it can also help lessen any bitterness.
