The Sanner Group is preparing for further expansion with plans to open a new manufacturing facility in Kunshan, China, for summer operations, as well as a new production site and headquarters in Bensheim, Germany.

These expansions will support Sanner's core strategic pillars, which include continuing to improve the desiccant and packaging portfolio for the healthcare market, by increasing activities as a device CDMO with more space for fully automated production and assembly of medical technology, diagnostics, and pharmaceutical drug delivery solutions. 

At the new location, energy consumption will be about 20–30% lower. Sanner intends to employ an automated heat exchange system, a heat pump, and less natural gas consumption in order to further lessen its environmental impact. Additionally, a photovoltaic system will be installed. It will generate enough energy to power over 300 single-family homes when it covers the entire factory roof. Wind turbines will also provide the energy required for electric cars and bicycle chargers as well as outdoor lighting.

High-quality controlled atmosphere packaging, such as customizable, high-quality integrated desiccant systems, drop-in products (canisters and packets), and specially designed plastic bottles with oxygen barrier materials are all provided by Airnov to the critical healthcare industries in order to protect their products from moisture and oxygen. The company employs about 700 people and has manufacturing facilities in the USA, France, China, and India. This is in line with Colorcon's mission to enhance health and wellness via convenience, safety, and compliance.
