  April 2023: Bridgewest introduced NovaCina, a new CDMO based in Australia that specializes on sterile injectable medicinal supplies. Bridgewest Group established the contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) after completing the acquisition of Pfizer's sterile injectable manufacturing unit. The facility will include nine production lines that will address oncology/high potency, blow-fill-seal, and multi-format vial streams. Pfizer will be a client of the CDMO since it has promised to continue producing cancer medications and sterile injectable hospital necessities for the firm. Bridgewest stated that supply to all customers will be maintained during the facility's transition into its ownership. Bridgewest acquired a suite of Pfizer medicinal goods as part of the transaction to buy the facility from the firm.

Trelleborg Healthcare & Medical's BioPharmaPro product line offers solutions made from a diverse portfolio of materials, including silicones, other elastomers, thermoplastics, and composites, which can be manufactured into tubing, custom molded components, processing columns, and full assemblies, among other things. Individual single-use components to sophisticated assemblies and whole biopharmaceutical systems made from a diverse spectrum of polymer materials that fulfill functionality, cleaning and sterilisation, and regulatory requirements are all available. All components fulfill cleanliness and biocompatibility criteria, including BioPhorum Operations Groups (BPOG) Extractables & Leachables standards for silicone tubing, and may be manufactured in ISO 7 and ISO 8 cleanrooms.
