It is a swing lens camera modeled after the famous widelux. The camera is unique in that its panning slit lens moves across a strip of film rather than using a traditional shutter. This allows for wide panoramic shots using 120 film, which is not easily achieved with most cameras unless using specialized and costly models. The Six:17 offers flexibility, as it can be used handheld with zone focusing or mounted on a tripod with interchangeable ground glass. Made from 3D-printed PLA and laser-cut acrylic, the camera features magnetic lens cones that can be swapped out. It also has a built-in darkslide so that lenses can be changed mid-roll. Overall, the Six:17 provides a unique way to shoot wide panoramic 120 photos without the need for expensive niche cameras.
