Mar 2023: The adult stem cell (ASC)-derived tubular organoids have been released by MIMETAS, a pioneer in organ-on-a-chip-based disease models, in an assay-ready state. ASC-derived Colon and Kidney Organoid tubules are two organoid-based products MIMETAS offers as part of its OrganoReady® product range. Their early-access consumers will thus be the first globally to receive license-free access to donor-relevant, functional organoid tubules of reliable quality. SUB Since organoids are produced from ASCs directly, donor-specific characteristics are preserved without reprogramming or stem cell transformation. Using HUB organoid technology in conjunction with MIMETAS' microfluidic platform, OrganoPlate®, organoids are developed as perfused 3D tubular structures accessible from both the apical and basal sides.

June 2023: The first supplier of cutting-edge in vitro models, Emulate, Inc., announced the early access program launch of the Emulate Chip-A1TM Accessible Chip. The new Organ-Chip design allows users to create greater tissues inside the epithelial culture chamber and employ additional drug treatment options, such as topical or aerosolized applications. This design builds upon the original Chip-S1 model, which models tissue-vascular connections with relevant biomechanical forces like stretch and flow. By combining gels up to 3 mm thick inside the Chip-A1's accessible culture chamber, incorporating stroma into the epithelial layer, forming stratified epithelia, and applying organ-specific biomechanical pressures, researchers can recreate intricate 3D tissues.List of Organ-on-a-chip Key companies in the market
