July 2023: Concerning digital PCR technology, Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc. and QIAGEN N.V. announced that they have reached a global settlement and patent cross-licensing agreement that resolves their ongoing patent dispute in the U.S. District Court of Delaware. As part of the settlement, Bio-Rad and QIAGEN will enter a cross-licensing arrangement whereby both companies will receive reciprocal rights to their separate digital PCR technologies. The main worldwide supplier of Sample to Insight solutions, which lets clients obtain insightful molecular information from samples containing the structural elements of life, is QIAGEN N.V., a holding firm with headquarters in the Netherlands.
May 2023: Despite Russia's conflict with Ukraine, the Dutch health technology company Philips plans to keep supplying hospital equipment to the country. Philips has ceased selling any of its healthcare products in Russia, except for items for maternity care.
