India Polyacrylamide Polymer Market
December 2022-SNF has recently revealed that it has finished a two-year-long construction and development of an ADAM (dimethylaminoethyl acrylate) monomer manufacturing plant at its site in Riceboro, Georgia. The development raises SNF's U.S. ADAM capacity by 80%. The development of ADAM is the crucial feedstock for ADC80 cationic monomer, a vital element in all SNF cationic polyacrylamide-based polymers. The latest ADAM monomer capacity has a new catalyst offering more process flexibility with a better safety profile for the company staff. Further, methanol, an outcome of ADAM production, will be utilized as a fuel source, making the procedure less reliant on natural gas and more sustainable. The growth showcases SNF's current oath to fulfill the escalating demand for cationic polyacrylamide-based polymers in oil & gas, paper, and wastewater treatment applications.Â
May 2022- State firm Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) recently got two enhanced oil recovery (EOR) assignments on individual assets in India that will have polymer flooding. In December 2021, ONGC's Ahmedabad asset offered an agreement to offer an alkali surfactant polymer, coupled with injection, to SNF Flopam at the Jhalora field. Additionally, in 2022, an analogous deal was granted by ONGC's Mehsana asset to SNF Flopam for Bechraji field. EOR is a tertiary technique to regain between 10% and 30% of crude oil in a reservoir, and occasionally even up to 60%, based on the technique used in several field studies.Â
