The new ACQUITY PREMIER solution for these analyses reduces the time from sample to results, enhances analyte recovery, and improves assay-to-assay reproducibility. This provides separation scientists with greater confidence in the integrity of their qualitative and quantitative analytical results.


Tosoh Bioscience LLC, a provider of chromatographic solutions for the separation and purification of biomolecules, has announced the introduction of SkillPak 1 mL and 5 mL pre-packed columns in March 2020. These process development columns are intended for the rapid development of methods and the resin screening of monoclonal antibodies, antibody constructs, oligonucleotides, proteins, and viruses. SkillPak 1 mL and 5 mL columns are pre-packed with TOYOPEARL®, TSKgel®, or Ca++Pure-HA™ process chromatography media, providing customers with increased flexibility for the use of process media from Tosoh. 


As a result, they deliver high performance and offer scalability and convenience. Upon receipt, these columns are prepared for use and exhibit exceptional physical strength, as well as optimal flow characteristics specifically designed for industrial downstream processing. In the chromatographic modes of affinity, anion and cation exchange, hydrophobic interaction, and size exclusion, SkillPak 1 mL and 5 mL pre-packed columns are currently available with short delivery periods. The columns are designed to provide optimal performance and can be directly operated with low or medium pressure liquid chromatography systems that are frequently employed.
