June 2023- At CWIEME Berlin 2023, Hitachi Energy showcased groundbreaking new technology through the presentation of various products. The company unveiled its latest developments in transformer insulation and components with the aim of expanding its product offering. This included a launch event as well as interactive sessions about EasyDry®, a newly developed paperless dry-type bushing.


December 2023- Bechtel Energy Inc. was awarded by ABB a contract to provide integrated automation, electrical and digital solutions for Phase 1 of the Rio Grande LNG facility (RGLNG Phase 1) in Brownsville, Texas, designed by NextDecade Corporation.


Hitachi’s new factory producing transformer components will be located in Vadodara city of Gujarat state of India and will become first one in the country to manufacture resin-impregnated paper brushings for HV transformers from the year of May 2022 onwards.


In December 2021, it sold ABB DOGDE Mechanical Power Transmission, which was its greatest publicly reported sale.ABB has purchased 40 businesses, including seven in the last five years.
