    • August 2022: In order to provide a connected bed platform to settings outside of intensive care units, the Indian producer of linked health products Dozee has partnered with Midmark India, the largest maker of hospital beds in South Asia. With their smart bed, patients may be monitored round-the-clock even while they're not in a critical care unit. Dozee's AI-powered contactless sensor is embedded into the mattress of the connected bed to track a patient's vitals such as heart rate, breathing rate, temperature, oxygen saturation, and electrocardiogram (ECG). It also has a warning mechanism built in so that doctors can step in before it's too late. The smart bed can communicate with the hospital's HMIS and control room. Dozee claims that the clinical accuracy of their RPM sensor powered by AI is 98.4 percent. According to Dozee, 95% of these beds have inadequate monitoring, making it more difficult to spot early warning signals of a patient's health deterioration.

    • Godrej & Boyce, the holding company for the Godrej companies, has announced that Godrej Interio, the Godrej group's residential and commercial furniture market leader in India, has released a groundbreaking new collection of platform beds. Current manual hospital beds have been modernized with an electric motor thanks to the unique Acura series of hospital beds. The new product range from Godrej Interio is created to accommodate the functional and aesthetically pleasant needs of hospitals in both urban and rural regions of India.  With a focus on the requirements of both patients and caregivers, the Acura hospital bed collection, which was just unveiled, exemplifies our design philosophy.
