September 2023- To complement its operations, Americana, the biggest operator of quick-service restaurants in the Mena region, intends to establish a new chicken feed mill in Ethiopia. As of June 30, Americana has 84 outlets under construction. By the close of the year, the company plans to add 250–260 new restaurants, with a concentration on Saudi Arabia. In the first half of 2023, the company added 108 additional locations, increasing its total number of eateries to 2,277 by the end of June.
August 2023- IB Group, a diversified agribusiness company, has opened its new hatchery and chicken feed facility in Jagadishpur, Uttar Pradesh's Amethi district. With a 12-acre footprint, the new feed and hatchery complex can produce 3 lakh broiler chicks and 600 tonnes of chicken feed daily.
