Stylam Industries is the first laminate manufacturer in India to receive ENVIRONMENTAL PRODUCT DECLARATION (EPD) accreditation, which has been published in the esteemed The International EPD System. The environmental performance of a product or service is quantitatively assessed and declared using EPD certificates, which are independent declarations. A Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) study was carried out as part of this project in accordance with international standard ISO 14044 to evaluate the environmental impact of its goods over the course of their life cycles, from the acquisition of resources and raw materials to the end destination of the finished product. This EPD covers the whole compact laminate production life cycle, from raw materials to post-use disposal, or "cradle to grave."
