Compound Feed Market Overview
Come 2023, Rising manufacturing costs as a result of skyrocketing raw material prices limit future expansion and force a transition to rice. This year has seen a sluggish but steady growth in the animal feed business in Japan, despite pressure from rising raw material costs and the weakening yen on the sector's major companies. The price of animal feed in Japan, which is heavily dependent on imports, has increased dramatically in recent months and is still growing, according to NHK, a public broadcaster in Japan. This increase is attributed to the yen's depreciation and Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
The new enzyme product Natupulse® TS for animal feed was introduced by BASF in 2021. An example of a non-starch polysaccharide (NSP) enzyme is Natupulse® TS. ß-mannans are hydrolyzed into smaller components, such as endo-1,4-ß-D-mannanase. ß-mannanase improves digestibility, lowers digesta viscosity, and promotes more sustainable production when added to feed.
A new generation of Biolys®, a reliable supply of lysine for animal feed, was introduced by Evonik in 2023. Compared to the current version, which has 60 percent L-lysine (a 77 percent ratio to Lysine HCl), the new Biolys® formulation has 62.4 percent L-lysine (an 80 percent ratio to Lysine HCl). The fermentation process of the product yields valuable components, such as extra nutrients and energy, which are beneficial to livestock like pigs and poultry. Some of the Compound Feed Companies listed below:Charoen Pokphand Foods PCL (Thailand),New Hope Group (China),Cargill, Inc.
