The newly renamed WSG Energy Services (WSGES) has stated that WSG has sold its Well Intervention division and will utilize the proceeds to create the groundwork for a period of international expansion.
WSGES has undergone a significant restructuring and has sold its traditional Well Intervention product, which included coil tubing and slickline services. It will now concentrate on increasing its market position in Process, Pipeline & Industrial Services (PPIS).

A contract with the oil company Valeura Energy Inc. has been secured by the Malaysian company Uzma, through its Thai subsidiary MMSVS.
The Gulf of Thailand will receive the services and equipment under the three-year contract for coil tubing. Over the firm duration of the contract, the deal's value in Malaysia is around 45 million Malaysian ringgit (now equal to $10,1 million). Â

The UK-based Coil Tubing and Pumping company, Baker Hughes has been acquired by Oslo-listed offshore oil and gas services company Archer.
The two businesses formally agreed in February for Archer to acquire Baker Hughes' coil tubing and pumping (CT&P) division in the UK.
In February, Archer Limited announced that it had reached a final deal to acquire Baker Hughes' CT&P business in the UK. The CT&P business comprised four comprehensive packages with corresponding equipment, tailored and optimized for the UK market.
51 professional team members in the UK would be transferred to Archer as part of the deal via the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) ("TUPE") procedure. Contracts with clients pertaining to CT&P's business will come after the sale.
