After delisting and restructuring with SCG Decor, the company's largest stakeholder, SCG Ceramics (COTTO) Plc predicts a 2.3-fold increase in revenue and will become the market leader in Vietnam and the Philippines. SCG Decor also dominates the ceramic tile market in Vietnam and the Philippines, where those markets are served by its subsidiaries Prime Group and Mariwasa-Siam Ceramics, respectively. They each have a market share of 16.8% and 26.4%. SCG Decor's subsidiary in Indonesia is PT Keramika Indonesia, in which it owns a 92% share. The market for ceramic tiles is 4% owned by this business.
Based on its projected revenue of 13.1 billion baht for 2022, COTTO expects to experience a 2.3-fold rise in revenue after the restructuring. Currently, SCG Decor has a production capacity of 107 million square meters for ceramic tiles and 4.3 million units for sanitaryware, compared to COTTO's 80 million square meters per year.

One of the top manufacturers of ceramic tiles in the world, RAK Ceramics PJSC, today announced a USD 14 million investment in its sanitaryware manufacturing line in the United Arab Emirates. The move will modernize the facility with the newest cutting-edge technology kilns and improve the company's sanitaryware operating model sustainably.
In order to become online in the first half of 2024, RAK Ceramics plans to start installing the new equipment in 2023. With the ability to switch to hydrogen fuel in the future and innovative features for waste heat recovery, the investment will enable the sanitaryware line to incorporate the most recent technology into the heat exchanger system of kilns.
