On Tuesday of the current "One Week One Lab" (OWOL) campaign in 2023, the CSIR-Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI) unveiled three new inventions. CFTRI released a gluten-free cake mix and a rusk with added fibre.
As part of the brand's multiyear partnership with beloved GRAMMY® Award-winning artist, noted philanthropist, and global superstar Dolly Parton, arranged by Dolly's global licencing partner IMG, Duncan Hines, a brand of Conagra Brands, Inc., is launching four more baking mixes with the star in 2023. This follows the success of the brand's 2022 launch of Dolly Parton's cake mixes and frostings. Dolly's favourite family recipes served as inspiration for two brownie mixes, a biscuit mix, and a cornbread mix are among the new offerings.
A new gluten-free vanilla cake mix will be introduced by the upcycled food firm Renewal Mill in 2023 during the Natural Products Expo West conference, which takes place in Anaheim, California from March 8–11. The company expanded its list of noteworthy alliances when it collaborated with Perfect Day, a precision fermentation company, to utilise their “Protein Pre-Blend Bakery Egg Replacer,” an animal-free whey protein product that replicates the qualities of eggs in baking.
