Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI), Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Engine & Turbocharger, Ltd. (MHIET), and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Corporation (MHI-AC&R) have begun joint demonstration testing of a system that liquefies the CO2 captured from gas engine generator sets. Through the provision of the liquefaction system and associated technologies, it will quicken efforts to reach carbon neutrality.
A compact CO2 capture system called "CO2MPACTTM" and a compact CO2 liquefaction system made by MHI-AC&R are used in this demonstration testing program to capture and liquefy CO2 from gas engine generator sets that are part of an internal power station at MHIET's Sagamihara Plant. The demonstration testing will focus on early practical application while introducing knowledge from the Research & Innovation Centre, which oversees R&D for MHI Group. Liquid CO2 is projected to speed up the adoption of CCUS (Carbon dioxide Capture, Utilisation, and Storage) because it has a smaller volume than gaseous CO2 and is easier to transport.

Mercedes-AMG unveiled the SL 43, a technologically advanced new entry model for the AMG SL roadster with a starting price of $109,900. It will be available in US dealerships in the summer of 2023.
An AMG-enhanced 2.0 liter turbocharged M139 engine with an electronic exhaust gas turbocharger is housed under the hood of the open-top 2+2-seater. The Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team successfully used a development that is directly derived from this technology.
A more dynamic driving experience is delivered thanks to the new type of turbocharging, which ensures spontaneous throttle response throughout the whole rpm range. Â
