A new CatEx Sensor for the linked gas detector from Drägerwerk AG & Co. KGaA has been released. Four gases can be measured at once using the X-am 2800 multi-gas detector.


Oxygen, carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulphide, nitrogen dioxide, and sulphur dioxide are among the flammable gases and vapours that users can select sensors for. With the help of Dräger Gas Detection Connect, the X-am 2800 multi-gas detector can be used. The Dräger Gas Detection Connect Cloud will then receive the data the gadget has collected after being uploaded immediately over Bluetooth to a smartphone.


The data can also be sent immediately to Gas Detection Connect via the Dräger X-dock test station for effective fleet management, providing users with safe access to the data whenever they need it via an internet browser.


The newly developed CatEx sensor is highly shock resistant and may be set up for gases like methane, propane, and hydrogen or for flammable vapours like nonane, diesel, and petrol.
