Nov. 23, 2023- German Tier-1 giant Mahle announced that its wireless EV charging solution got a nod from SAE International as a global standard. Mahle developed a vehicle positioning system (VPS) that allows an electric vehicle to simply, reliably, and precisely aligned above the charging coil of a wireless EV charger. SAE International (the Society of Automotive Engineers) chose this solution as the global standard for wireless EV charging.
Nov. 16, 2023- WiTricity, a leading provider of wireless EV charging solutions, showcased its wireless EV charging technology at AutoMobility LA, media and industry day of LA's Auto Show. The company displayed a Ford Mustang Mach-E outfitted with the WiTricity Halo wireless charging receiver as part of EV charging innovations.

July 12, 2023- WiTricity, a leader in wireless EV charging, announced the FastTrack Integration Program for automotive OEMs. The program opened for enrolment in August 2023 allows for an initial vehicle integration in three months, accelerating automaker testing of wireless charging on existing and future EV platforms. Wireless charging will be fully enabled and operational on the automaker's EV platform using the WiTricity Halo receiver and the WiTricity Halo 11kW charger.
