    • April 2023: Thyrocare, a pioneer in India's diagnostic and preventive healthcare industry, has introduced a new service called JAANCH. JAANCH provides convenient, all-inclusive packages for patients in need of specialized care. All Indians have access to Jaanch's individualized, comprehensive, and low-cost healthcare services. Jaanch offers 26 plans for a variety of conditions, including those related to the heart, diabetes, the thyroid, cancer, STDs, women's reproductive health, hair loss, and fever. Lifestyle illnesses, which account for almost 60% of all fatalities in India, are on the rise, which is why Jaanch is being introduced now. Lifestyle illnesses are more common due to factors including poor food, insufficient exercise, high stress levels, and inactivity. Cancer, diabetes, and chronic respiratory illnesses follow heart disease as the next top causes of mortality in India. About 75% of Indians under the age of 50 are at high risk for cardiovascular disease.




    • May 2023: HanAll Biopharma Co., Ltd. and Daewoong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. made public their partnership with Boston-based preclinical-stage biopharma NurrOn Pharmaceuticals Inc. By focusing on Nurr1, the master regulator for dopaminergic neuron formation and maintenance, NurrOn aims to find and develop innovative therapeutics for patients with neurodegenerative disorders like Parkinson's disease (PD). In 2021, NurrOn received Series A investment from investors including HanAll and Daewoong. By activating Nurr1, a family of proteins essential to the production and maintenance of dopamine in the brain, the technology is helping NurrOn advance the development of its lead chemical ATH-399A, which may delay the course of the illness in PD patients.
