The assignment agreement between CASI Pharmaceuticals Inc. and Cleave Therapeutics Inc. has been executed. As a result, CASI acquired all worldwide intellectual property rights pertaining to CB-5339, a novel VCP/p97 inhibitor, as well as all remaining CB-5339 drug substance and drug product. CASI Pharmaceuticals Inc. is a biopharmaceutical company focused on developing and commercialising innovative therapeutics and pharmaceutical products. Furthermore, CASI will take over management of the US CB-5339 Investigational New Drug application.

Designed to interfere with protein homeostasis, DNA damage response, and other cellular stress pathways, CB-5339 is an oral, second-generation, small molecule valosin-containing protein/p97 inhibitor. The medication showed signs of clinical activity and was well tolerated in 55 patients in a Phase 1 clinical trial for myelodysplastic syndrome and acute myeloid leukaemia. 

CB-5339 is a novel small molecule drug candidate that holds great promise for targeting VCP/p97 specifically in a range of cancers.

With the release of its EVERAD Rapid Inhibitor Test Strip, Wiseman is assisting heating engineers in determining the system's EVERAD Corrosion inhibitor level. By comparing the results with the provided scientific colour map, they can be sure the inhibitor is present at the proper level to protect the system.

Customers can also download its EVERAD Rapid Inhibitor Test app from Google Play or the Apple Store. After using the app, test strip results can be recorded and an emailable Pass/Fail test certificate is generated instantaneously.

Heating engineers are obligated by Building Regulations Part L BS7593 to 'offer' water treatment additives to customers for their heating systems. This is done to make sure the systems are producing the most heat possible.
