Aramco has licenced the advanced fluid bed Methanol-to-Gasoline (MTG) technology from ExxonMobil Catalysts and Licencing LLC (EMCL) for a demonstration-scale unit to be housed in NEOM's Hydrogen Innovation and Development Centre.
Aramco will use ExxonMobil technology to transform renewable methanol into renewable synthetic petrol. Using synthetic petrol made from renewable resources can help reduce greenhouse gas emissions from transportation.
Comparing ExxonMobil's fluid bed MTG design to a fixed bed process, there are benefits in terms of capital costs, operating costs, operational reliability, and production quality. The licenced MTG unit is anticipated to be commissioned by 2025. Â

FUCHS Lubricants Co. recently released RENOLIT CSX AWE 0, a calcium sulfonate complex grease especially made for truck trailer axle hubs. In terms of low friction, extreme pressure, and lower running temperature, RENOLIT CSX AWE 0 performs better than the industry-standard legacy grease, according to a third-party side-by-side study. OEMs should be able to withstand the damaging effects of water and road salts better with the use of this product.
This grease offers OEMs and fleets sustainable lithium-free grease technology with an affordable, long-term solution. RENOLIT CSX AWE 0 is easy to replace because it is designed to function with legacy axle-bearing greases that are already in use.
Cummins-Meritor has approved this product for use in both standard and extended wheel-end warranty applications under their O-699 specification.
RENOLIT CSX AWE 0 is produced at multiple FUCHS facilities in the US and is available directly from FUCHS or through their distributors in 400-pound drums, 120-pound kegs, and 35-pound pails.
