October 2023- Allseas, the leading Offshore installation services company, has introduced its new barge for shallow water offshore construction movements called 'Sandpiper'. The company stated on October 31st that the 170-meter barge was introduced in Singapore with a grand function after various progressing activities in 2022/2023. The vessel refers to a flat bottom, attached barge for narrow water offshore construction endeavors, bought by Allseas in 2022 and upgraded for pipelaying in 2022/23. Sandpiper is endowed with a 10-point mooring system, pipelay tools ideal for laying pipe up to approximately 60 inches in diameter, and a piggyback firing ranging from a 6.50-inch-diameter pipe. Sandpiper is also suitable with a davit system that allows the system to carry out 'mid-line' tie-ins and an 800-t crane for construction work.
August 2023- Azerbaijan Caspian Sea Shipping CJSC's (ASCO) Süleyman Vazirov pipe-laying vessel has efficiently finished the pipe-laying operations at the ZHDANOV and LAM oil field situated in the Turkmenistan field of the Caspian Sea, Azernews reports, quoting ASCO. A four-inch gas pipeline was positioned by ship from the Lam-B platform to theLam-28 platform and from the Lam-B stage to the Lam-C platform. One must see that the operation in the line construction, with the full length of around 5 kilometers, was beginning in March of this year.
