Latest Hypodontia Companies Update
May 2023: Through the purchase of S.I.N. Implant System, the world's largest distributor of dental products is poised to join the Brazilian dental implant market. In May, the two businesses inked a final contract to see S.I.N. continue to operate under its current leadership and join Henry Schein's Global Oral Reconstruction Group. Southern Cross Group, a private equity firm with a portfolio of interests throughout Latin America, will sell S.I.N. to Henry Schein for an undisclosed amount. According to a release from Henry Schein, the arrangement is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to close in the latter part of this year. He claimed that the company started operating in Brazil five years ago and that Henry Schein's dental equipment and consumables division would benefit from the acquisition.
The next phase of workflow integrations between Dentsply Sirona, the world's largest manufacturer of professional dental goods and technologies, and 3Shape, a pioneer in developing digital solutions for dental patient care, has begun. DS Core, Primemill, and Primeprint produce more connected workflows for digital dentistry, working together with the 3Shape TRIOS intraoral scanner, which 3Shape Unite drives. Simple, safe, and networked technology solutions will help dentists and dental assistants work together more effectively to continue confidently providing high-quality dental care.
