The acquisition will be funded in part by $30 million in additional financing given by Squadron Capital LLC on terms similar to the other loans granted by Squadron Capital LLC to OrthoPediatrics. Vilex is largely a foot and ankle surgery firm with a product portfolio aimed at juvenile and adult patients that earned $11.8 million in total revenue, the majority of which came from the United States, and around $2.9 million in net income. Orthex is used to treat congenital abnormalities and limb length disparities in children, including fibula and tibia hemimelia, radial clubhand, ankle equinus, Blount's disease, genu recurvatum, and multiapical deformities.
