Moldova and Romania will begin joint border control at the main checkpoint between the two nations in April 2023, according to Moldova's interior minister on Wednesday. The new manner of operation at the busiest border crossing point will minimise wait times. Normally, such negotiations take years, but the Moldovan government immediately accepted a deal with Romania.
