Upward Farms’ new trays made from plastic, which are sealed rather than conventional clamshells, can be stacked and opened more easily. Closing them extends the shelf life of micro-greens. The resealable design uses 38% less plastic as compared to the conventional clamshell form for greens and is made out of post-consumer recycled plastic, thus giving customers a greener option.
