Automation Technology Inc. (ATI), a premier supplier of customized and all-inclusive valve automation solutions, has introduced its Zero Emission Electro-Hydraulic actuator solution to reduce pipeline operations' carbon footprint.
A complete solution to reduce emissions without using pipeline gas as the actuator's main power source is offered by the Zero Emission Electro-Hydraulic package. Previous pipeline actuators relied on the pipeline gas—which is released into the atmosphere—to serve as a power source. A small suite comprising the power source and the actuator is connected by ATI's self-contained Zero Emission Electro-Hydraulic solution.
The Zero Emission Electro-Hydraulic package is available with spring-return or double-acting configurations, and it can be installed directly onto the valve using a flange or a special adapter. The actuator is attached to the pump, motor, positioners, solenoids, and reservoir limit switches. ATI offers solar power systems to power the systems that customers need in remote areas without power. For larger operations, ATI also offers a skid-mounted hydraulic power unit that can power multiple actuators at once.
