Pune, India, March 30, 2018 /MRFR Press Release/- Market research future published a half cooked research report on global automotive supercharger market. The automotive supercharger market is expected to grow over the CAGR of around 6% during the period 2022 to 2030.
Market Highlights
The one principle that binds the entire automotive industry over the world is the use of the Internal Combustion (I.C.) engine. For a better part of the last century, almost 95% of the automobiles manufactured across all segments ran on fossil fuels (petrol, diesel, and natural gas). It was only during the late 1990s and early 2000s that battery operated vehicles were taken seriously, albeit on a conceptual level. The primary reason for this was the harsh reality of depleting natural resources over the world. This signified that the fossil fuel reserves, globally, were also taking a hit. Commodities, such as petrol, natural gas, and diesel, were surely getting scarce and the day when stocks turned complete empty wasn’t far off. Improvements are needed to be made to make the situation .The battery/electric motor driven automobiles were researched upon at length to find a sustainable solution in developing a technology due to which automobile engines can keep running for a long time without using the fossil fuel based products like petrol and diesel

The concept of battery operated automobiles was simply outstanding on paper, but had some serious loopholes. The most glaring of these was the fact that these automobiles had limited charging stations, owing to infrastructure problems; the mile/kilometer range for these automobiles was very limited (typically 60–70 miles in one charging). These and other problems presented huge hindrances for the growth of the electric powered automobile technology. To overcome this problem, the automakers focused their attention on improving the efficiency of the existing automobiles. This was done primarily by improving the quality of air received inside the combustion chamber of the IC engine to ultimately achieve higher fuel efficiency. Thus, the aim was to make the existing IC engine more efficient by using the technology in discussion – i.e., automotive supercharger.
On the basis of region, the market is segmented based on North America, Asia Pacific, Europe, and Rest of the World. The North America region (consisting of the U.S. and Canada) has seen exponential growth in the purchasing power and shift in the spending capacity of consumers. Consumers here prefer owning a large automobile, such as an SUV, mini truck, or high performance off-roader. Coupled with the large road infrastructure available in this region, people here prefer at least one personal vehicle per person for leisure and work-related travel. This would provide the automotive supercharger market in North America with a strong growth opportunity in the near future. The Europe region is home to some of the technologically most advanced automobiles ever manufactured in the world. The marvelous engineering of these automobiles is further enhanced by the automotive supercharger technology. The emerging automotive hub of the world – India and China, has a growing middle class. Thus, the purchasing power of people in this region is increasing, along with their taste/preference for high-end cars, which again can be streamlined using the supercharger technology.
